The private bath outside the room is fantastic; it was snowing on the day of my stay, making the snow bath very enjoyable. The staff is incredibly friendly to foreigners, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Although I don't know the name of the staff on that day, the service was excellent.

The region is amazing, nostalgic and peaceful (just like the perfect rural Japan we have dreamt of). The hotel staff is highly polite, helpful and lovely. The hotel itself is brand new and well designed. The hotel restaurant was delicious. And last but not least: the hotel room. Absolutely stunning, well thought and designed. So spacious, clean, private and aesthetic. We had the room with the private onsen and we will definitely coming back!!! Really a hidden gem we will keep in our hearts.
